Imagine having the ability to sing for a living and transport your audience to another time and place. As an avid music lover like many of you, it is a great escape from the stress of everyday life when you attend a great show. Ryan Broshear is an artist that takes his fans on amazing journeys during his performances.
At six years old, Ryan began singing country music. He was surrounded by music growing up and often his dad would relate songs to him. I wanted to know more, so during our conversation, I asked him about it. Listen to our full conversation to hear what Ryan had to say about the start of his love for music.
As we continued to chat, I inquired what it was like to be named in the "Top 10 Artists to Watch" by Billboard Magazine. That is a huge accomplishment, so congratulations Ryan Broshear! When you add to that the sentiment of Joe Nichols saying Ryan is one of his new favorite artists while on the radio, you cannot help but get excited for him. The connection Ryan has to Joe Nichols is pretty awesome. You can listen to our interview to find out more about it.
With his new EP Paint It Red, you will hear songs that are very catchy such as "Friday Night in a Small Town" and "Spin Me." Immediately on hearing them I was reminded of Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean. This EP is sure to gain Ryan more attention from country music fans and as usual, I have included the link for you!
Ryan has a lot of exciting things coming up in 2016. For starters, on February 26, Ryan will be opening for The Swon Brothers (NBC's The Voice Finalists) in Ohio. The fans at that show are in for a huge treat. I asked Ryan if he has ever met the Swon Brothers and was surprised by his answer. Listen to our conversation to hear all the fun we had, including the explanation of a big, ugly fish!
After you have heard our conversation, please go download his EP Paint It Red, and follow him on social media. ~Missy
