Cory has performed in arenas before thousands nationwide and has appeared in over 25 Musical Theater and Stage productions. Corey starred on BRAVO TV’s singing Competition The Kandi Factory. Not only did he win the grand prize, he took home a song written by Grammy Award Winning Artist, Kandi Burress, titled; "I Can Do Anything".
Cory was nominated for a 2011 NJ Perry Award, and he recently starred in Tony Award Winner, Joe DiPietro’s, “The Last Romance”. Cory was nominated for his performance as the Young Ralph for a Broadway World Award. There is so much to this young artist. Not only has he faced personal struggle with Autism, but he has faced months of isolation following painful medical issues. His remarkable life story has driven his passion and support for charities focusing on Autism and other disabilities. Cory’s Motto as you will hear in our interview is “Focus On Your Abilities, Not Your Disabilities.”
Cory is currently on the turning 21 tour. He was able to celebrate in Nashville and told me all about it. His abilities vocal and musically span rock, pop & opera. His songwriting skills are exceptional and he has already written his upcoming full length album "Fantasyland". As an ambassador for the Heart Songs for Veterans Program, Cory donates his time and talent for helping others. I was lucky enough to get to watch Cory perform at the American Pickers store, Antique Archaeology, following our interview. His stage presence was just as wonderful as his ability to write and sing. He wrote, composed and sings the Theme Song for Heart Songs For Veterans; "From My Heart To Yours". Cory recently released his NEW Single "Welcome to Reality" on August 11th 2015. The single is a prelude to his original release; "Fantasyland", and is available exclusively on Heart Songs for Veterans Website.
