Tucker Wetmore rides into 2025 with a No. 1 hit and sold-out tour dates

Adds dates to ‘Waves On A Sunset Tour’
Tucker Wetmore’s boots hardly had a moment to rest in 2024 – and 2025 is already shaping up to be even busier.
Tucker is quickly turning into a sort of poster child for the phrase “breakout artist.” Still riding high on the giddy thrill of his first No. 1 at Country radio – the smash hit “Wind Up Missin’ You” – he can look back on a year that also included signing a major-label record deal, his first EP, a Platinum debut single and sold-out tour dates.

Those boots hit the ground running as the New Year dawned with Tucker joining the roster of stars playing Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa 2025, January 15 – 18 at the Moon Palace Cancun in Mexico. Along with Luke Bryan, Bailey Zimmerman, Dustin Lynch, Elle King, Dylan Scott, Jackson Dean, Nate Smith, Dasha, Ella Langley, Travis Denning, Kendell Marvel and more, Tucker rocked the fifty-five-hundred-strong party crowd.
Tucker had moved to Nashville in 2020 from Kalama, Washington after an injury put an end to a possible future in football. Focusing on his other love – music – he released some promotional singles that led to being signed by Back Blocks Music in 2023 and an additional partnership with UMG Nashville. A few months later, “Wine Into Whiskey” became his first song to break into both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts. “Wind Up Missin’ You” followed it in 2024 and both singles are now RIAA-certified Platinum.
He has already exceeded 700 million total global streams and received nods from Spotify and VEVO on Artist to Watch lists. On its release, Billboard noted “Wind Up Missin’ You” as a “surefire hit” and it took just 30 weeks to peak atop the Mediabase Country Airplay charts. “I cannot say thank you enough to Country radio for making 'Wind Up Missin' You' my first No. 1,” shared Tucker on social media. “The last year has changed my life, and it wouldn't look the same without y'all!!! This is a dream come true and an incredible way to start 2025. I am beyond grateful to everyone who made this happen and I'm excited to work even harder for you this year. God is so good!!”
Following Crash My Playa, Tucker is back on the road (and in the air) with an extension of his sold-out Waves on a Sunset Tour, adding 17 dates beginning in Berlin, Germany, on March 8 before joining Thomas Rhett's Better In Boots Tour 2025 on June 5 as direct support.
When not touring the US, UK, and Europe this year, Tucker will continue releasing new music anchored by classic country storytelling that also reflects his cross-genre musical upbringing, embracing all manners of country, reggae, rock, and hip-hop.
