CMA Fest 2019 with Missy: James Dupré

by Missy Wolf / 1700 days ago / Comments

After getting to know artist James Dupré, it is easy to see why he is adored by so many. From his boyish smile to his overall charm and positive outlook, Dupré makes interviewing him a breeze. Whether he is sharing the news of soon welcoming a new baby girl, plans for a new album, or is special friendship with Randy Travis, Dupré is full of excitement, while remaining grateful and humble for all that he has.

During our conversation at CMA Fest, Dupré shared what it was like meeting new fans and recognizing returning fans. He joked that though he is bad at remembering names, he remembered their faces and was so happy that they once again wanted to meet him and say hello.

In addition to having a blast meeting fans, Dupré shared how much fun he was having performing at multiple locations during the four-day country music festival. We laughed as we talked about running into each other after his performance at Alley Taps. Happiness simply radiates through Dupré and immediately leaves a lasting feeling of elation after spending any amount of time with him.

His latest single "Another Love Song", will leave you nodding along as you relate to the story within the song. This is not your typical love song as it is full of the harsh reality of life that unfortunately many people face. It is a brilliant take on a love song and is definitely worth playing on repeat after adding it to your playlist.

If you are not yet following Dupré on social media, please go give his pages a "like", "follow", and "share". Be sure to head over to his website for all the latest news and updates. ~Missy

About CMA Fest

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
