Though CMA Fest 2019 has wrapped up, our on-camera conversations with many talented artists continue. On day two of the 4-day music festival, I sat with Lockeland for a follow-up interview from their debut release of "Til The Cows Come Home". Kyndon Oakes, Michale Boris, and Mark Vikingstad were all smiles and fun as they entered the media room.
I always look forward to speaking with this trio as they are simply put, "my boys". I know that whenever we get together we are sure to have a good time. In fact, their fans also know that Oakes, Boris, and Vikingstad are the kind of artists that enjoy having a good time and engaging with their fans. Whether it is a meet and greet, photo contest, or a funny post on social media, Lockeland does a great job at keeping their fans happy and entertained.
With the highly anticipated release of their new single "Drive" and an upcoming trip to the UK, Lockeland has a lot to celebrate. In addition to their busy performance schedule, the trio also makes sure to remember the important things in life such as giving their time to the Musicians On Call organization in order to bring joy to children and their families at the local Children's Hospital. It is acts of kindness like these that make a huge difference in our world. They are special moments that are meaningful to everyone involved. Those are just some of the reasons why Oakes, Boris, and Vikingstad will always be my boys, and Laura Bostic Wood's "besties". Watch our full conversation now for the full explanation of that.
If you have not yet followed Lockeland on social media, please do yourself a favor and do so now. This is just the beginning of what promises to be a long and successful music career for the trio. Also, be sure to like and share their pages with your friends. You are not going to want to miss out on any of the fun. Lockeland is definitely one group you need to keep your eyes on in 2019. ~Missy
