CMA Fest is far from over as we have many more interviews to bring you. This 4-day music festival is arguably the biggest country music festival in the world. From fans to artists, media to industry folks, Nashville is jam-packed with a variety of people all there for one reason, great music entertainment.
Each year, CMA Fest brings in thousands of fans all hoping for a unique and memorable experience. While some fans attend the even for the concerts, others attend in hopes of meeting an artist that they love. Whatever the reason is for attending, fans are excited and ready to take on the fun-filled, family-friendly music event of the year.
Each year, CMA Fest seems to get better and better. One of my favorite parts of this event is the number of new artists I get to meet and chat with such as Kelsey Lamb. As I sat with Lamb for our on-camera conversation in the media center at Fan Fair X, she alerted me to the fact that this was her first CMA Fest as both a fan and artist.
Though we met on the last day of the 4-day event, Lamb explained that it was also her first day at the country music festival. Not realizing how busy she had already been, Lamb explained that she had already performed, signed autographs and met with fans, and also had the chance to watch Kelsea Ballerini while she was at the 'Up Close and Personal' stage inside Fan Fair X.
Lamb shared that some of her favorite parts of CMA Fest were the more intimate experiences with fans as well as other artists. I have to agree. Those moments are the moments you do not usually have the opportunity to be a part of while an artist is on tour. Most Q&A's are simply done at a radio station or at a television show taping leaving the audience to merely see it or hear it from a different location entirely.
As we moved the conversation to her own music, Lamb explained that releasing her first single was great, yet scary. "Little By Little" is a song that catches your attention immediately, making you want to jump in and sing along. The accompanying music video is equally as good and so much fun to watch.
If you have not yet gotten to know Lamb, please check out her website and socials now. Be sure to grab a copy of "Little By Little' and remember to watch our full conversation to learn more about this talented artist ~Missy
