SINGER SONGWRITER JENA ROSE RELEASES NEW SONG “LOST AT SEA” BEFORE HEADING ON TOUR WITH INDIE POP TRIO AJR

OPENING UP FOR SABRINA CARPENTER ON JULY 26

Jena Rose is one of the more thrilling newcomers in pop… - FUSE

Pop artist and singer/songwriter Jena Rose releases new a song “Lost At Sea,” listen to it HERE. The 16-year old wrote the original track and is dedicating it to her late grandmother, and honoring her by using her painting as the artwork.

Jena speaks about how she poured herself into creating this song saying,“I wrote this [song] for anyone who is feeling lost and feels like the world is not on their side. It’s important to remember there’s always someone by your side - family, friends, teachers… Everyone feels this way sometimes and I know that my family was lost when my grandmother passed away. That is why I want to dedicate this song to my late grandmother by using one of her [painting] as the artwork for it.

Spending most of this year touring the US, Jena recently wrapped the "Taking You" tour with pop collective Why Don't We and the High School Nation tour with Plain White T's. She will be hitting the road this summer with S-Curve recording artists AJR, whose hit single, “Weak” was just certified Gold by RIAA. This follows a performance alongside Hollywood Records recording artist Sabrina Carpenter on “The De-Tour” in Jena’s hometown of Dallas, TX.

Getting back to her songwriting roots, Jena has been working one-on-one in the studio on new music with Grammy nominated writer and producer Druski (Tori Kelly, Zendaya). The creativity has been flowing, and the sound she’s been working on is feeling more authentic than ever to who she is as an artist. Jena has recently began posting a few experimental tracks such as “Count Me Out” and “Far From Here” on her Soundcloud and will be putting up more as she continues working in the studio this summer.

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
