Press Release:
(Nashville, Tenne.--April 17, 2017) Country singer-songwriter and guitarist, Luke Caccetta, will release his new single “Cue The Rain” on April 21st; his first release of new material in three years. The single will be available on all major digital outlets.
The guitar slingin’ entertainer has infectious charm and an unbelievable vocal range that results in material that never disappoints. However, “Cue The Rain” explores Caccetta’s vulnerable side with verses that share a cinematic play-by-play of a love worn thin.
"I cannot wait for people to hear this song," said Caccetta. "I'm so grateful to have had the chance to work with amazing people and arrange in a musical form a moment in my life where I was truly heartbroken."
Co-written by Trent Jeffcoat, “Cue The Rain” was recorded at Watershed Studios in Brentwood, Tenn. and produced by lead guitarist Matt Carey.
"Producing 'Cue The Rain' felt more like directing a movie scene," said Carey. "The vivid visuals Luke and Trent [Jeffcoat] constructed lyrically were so fun to put to music. The song takes you on a dynamic journey of highs and lows which makes it so captivating to listen to. Also, we had some incredible musicians working on this record. With Stephen Puckett on drums and Ted Gadja on bass we created a solid rhythm section, which was essential. This whole project was easily one of my favorites I’ve done because everyone we worked with were great friends."
Caccetta continues to travel much of the Mid-West and East Coast to perform his high-energy set for attendees of the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam and the Country ThrowDown Festival and will appear at Lance Carpenter’s Music on the Mulberry this summer. He has been fortunate enough to perform at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, open for 1000 Horses, and play guitar for singer-songwriters Levi Hummon and Nick Sturms.
Caccetta’s debut EP, Cheers, was distributed through Match Records in the spring of 2014. “Cheers,” took the No.1 spot on the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Top 40 chart while the full project claimed No.108 on the iTunes Top 200 Country Albums chart the day of launch. The five tracks, all written solely by Caccetta, were recorded at Ocean Way Studio off of Music Row in Nashville. “Cheers” brought Caccetta to the attention of numerous industry professionals. In result, he was invited by NSAI to share the stage with songwriter Mark Irwin (Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw) for his debut at the famous Bluebird Café.
Originally from Williamsburg, Virginia, Caccetta’s talent blossomed at 12 years of age as a mostly self-taught guitarist. He spent the majority of his time studying the lyrical content and guitar licks of influencers such as Elvis Presley, Waylon Jennings, and Bruce Springsteen; blending his southern roots with his passion for rock ‘n roll. Caccetta also dabbled in musical theatre where his stage presence came into fruition. In high school, Caccetta auditioned for a position as a guitarist in at Busch Gardens Willaimsburg. Caccetta found himself with a regular gig before evolving as multi-faceted solo act. Caccetta relocated to Nashville in 2011 to further pursue his music career. He attended Middle Tennessee State University as a songwriting major where he was mentored by Rick Carnes (Reba McIntire, Garth Brooks) and later, Lance Carpenter (Kelsea Ballerini).
