Watch our conversation now and get familiar with this extremely talented artist. Below is a glimpse of who this artist is as taken from his bio on Facebook.
Jason Glenn has his debut EP album called, "Ups and Downs" featuring 6 songs on the EP Available on iTunes now! Jason has been listening to country music as a young boy. As he grew, his interest in writing and singing country music flourished. He started out singing in musicals, and just for fun. He started listening to Tim McGraw's music since his first album release in the early 90's. That's when his passion for country music stood out. He started to perform as a Tim McGraw tribute artist in 2010 when his dad/manager told him he can get him booked on shows. Jason thought his dad was crazy thinking he could sing for an hour straight. As Jason Glenn started performing more and more in front of thousands of people, he realized then, that after singing for an hour and a half show, he knew he had something. So he wrote his first country single "Don't Lead me on". After he was tired of all the nonsense of relationships, he wrote his newest single, "Bad Boy" which is the end of all things basically to that nonsense, and gives an I don't care attitude with regards to bad relationships. Currently, as of April, 2016, His song "Bad Boy" ranks #4 on SmokinFM's weekly top 20 countdown, which it took him one day to put the melody and lyrics to "Bad Boy" His music video for Bad Boy will be released on May 15th, 2016!
The music he sings relate to his life in every way in some form or another. he loves to entertain. The more people watching, the more fun he has. It's like a major adrenaline rush. He has been told he sounds like known artists such as, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Luke Bryan and even Garth Brooks. Jason Glenn has a different and a unique sound bringing in some sounds from traditional with slide guitar, and a swing style, but put the rock in it, and it has that country music feel.
He was born and raised in southern California. His motivation to pursue his music career are is 2 teenage daughters. His only dream is for them to look up to him and say, "That's my dad!" He has been thankful to have a great band. His brother, wrote "Beginning of the End", "Down to the Bone", and Gone too Long", over 17 years ago, and recently, Jason re vamped those songs his brother wrote and his new single "Gone Too Long", is one of them, and he re created this song to hit home to his audience about his real life situations. He performs not only his original songs, but he also performs Tim McGraw cover songs and others as well. His goal and passion is to perform on the big stages with major artists and his music to be felt in the hearts of both male and female.
Jason Glenn has been self promoting his new EP, using his last bit of money to fund the project. Day after day, after hours of research, going back and forth to the studio, spending countless hours to the point of exhaustion, break ups one after another, and jumping all the way with relationships quickly, his daughter, Tiffany told him he should name his title "Ups and Downs", which is why "Ups and Downs" is an important title for his EP.”
