Center Stage Magazine is thrilled to premiere “If I Had A Highway,” the new single from rising bluegrass artist Caroline Owens. The track appears on her upcoming album Low Flying Planes, which arrives Friday, October 30 via Billy Blue Records.
When we asked about her new single, Caroline replied, “Having left my own small town to chase my dreams, I often think about the people who may have those same dreams but never get the opportunity to see what’s beyond their hometown. So Lacy Green and I sat down with a little inspiration, and ‘If I Had A Highway’ was born. I hope it reminds folks that dreams are worth chasing, no matter where you come from.”
Owens, a North Carolina native known for blending traditional bluegrass roots with contemporary storytelling, continues to build momentum with this release. The album showcases her distinctive voice and songwriting, following earlier tracks that have already drawn attention across bluegrass outlets. “If I Had A Highway” offers a glimpse of the reflective, road-worn themes running through Low Flying Planes.Listeners can hear the full premiere now on Center Stage Magazine, with the complete album available beginning Friday.
Stop what you are doing. Listen to the song. Add it to your playlist. Share it with your firends. Enjoy. ~Missy
