CRS50 with Missy: Shari Rowe

As the week comes to an end, I wanted to leave you with the one interview that brought me to tears during this year's Country Radio Seminar. For those who may not understand how our interviews with artists work, the reality is that most of us because bonded and form friendships outside of what you see on camera.

Though we may not talk all the time, Shari Rowe and I have formed a friendship that puts a smile on my face. As I walked into the lobby at the Omni Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee for CRS, I heard an excited voice shout "Missy". I immediately lit up as Rowe and I met for a hug.

After chatting with her briefly, I could not wait for our on-camera conversation. Knowing she had a lot of exciting news to reveal such as her new single "Night Ridin'", I was not expecting that our on-camera conversation was going to end up bringing me to tears. Let me tell you, the ugly cry came out of nowhere and without hesitation, Rowe rescued me and the interview. Watch our full conversation now for an interview I will never forget.

If you are not yet following Rowe on social media, please do so now. I for one am so grateful that I was introduced to her powerful vocals and beautiful soul. I know you will be too. Remember to grab her latest single "Night Ridin'" and do not forget to head over to her website for all the latest news and updates.~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
