Conversations with Missy: Jessica Lynn
After having the opportunity to interview Jessica Lynn via Skype, I was very excited to finally be able to sit down with her at the 2018 Country Radio Seminar. Wrapping up a long two days of interviews at CRS with Lynn could not have been more perfect.
As we sat in the lobby upstairs at the Omni Hotel, Lynn and I discussed what she has been up to and what she has coming up. Just coming back from the NAMM show in Southern California, Lynn was excited that she was able to attend CRS. Being that this was her first time attending the Country Radio Seminar, Lynn explained the fun of meeting people in the industry face to face that you know by name only and how everyone kind of had the same experience with putting the faces to names.
Lynn also joked with me about John Schneider. Having had the opportunity to sit and talk with Schneider on camera, I guess she could tell that I was still on cloud nine when she spoke about getting to meet him. After our giggles subsided, Lynn explained what it was like attending the Grassroots Promotion dinner and described how amazing the company is as they helped her debut single "Crazy Idea" get on the charts.
Lynn and I have been able to maintain contact since our first interview and she has since become a good friend to us here at Center Stage Magazine.
