I love watching a young artist pursue their dreams and reach their goals. Meet Kristen Barkuloo. This young female artist from Panama City, Florida has proven that she has what it takes to make her dreams reality. She has the support of an amazing family that has encouraged her since day one.
For some songwriting is an important part of their music. Kristen earned herself an award for her songwriting abilities. Though she was notified by email that she earned this award, it was not until the certificate came in the mail that it finally sunk in. Listen to her share her story during our conversation.
Kristen not only writes all her own songs, she is also very involved with the production of her music. It will not be long before everyone in Nashville has heard her music. She has been able to accomplish so much in her short time as an artist. She may have a long way to go, but with her determination and tenacity, I have no doubt she will achieve all her dreams.
