The next artist in our Tap Into Indie Series is the lovely, young, and vibrant Catt McCreary. I cannot tell you all how excited I was to hear that she was going to be a part of the Heart Songs Corporation and Center Stage Magazine Independent artist Showcase at Alley taps during CMA Fest 2017.
McCreary and I have been active social media friends since our first Conversations with MIssy interview. Meeting her face to face was something I was definitely looking forward to. Not only did this artist impress me during our first interview, she impressed me with her genuine appreciation for her fans. McCreary is one of the artists that always connects to her fans. She keeps conversations going with them on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. It has been fun for me to watch those connections continue to grow.
Not only was I getting to meet her face to face for the first time, I was also going to get to watch her perform live for the first time. This girl is fantastic. She had the audience captivated from the second she took the stage. Her ability to take control of the room and deliver stellar vocals was a thrill for me to witness. This girl was on fire. The excitement of CMA Fest was definitely felt during McCreary's amazing performance. This is what fans wanted. This is why they came. McCreary did not disappoint in the slightest.
After her performance, McCreary and I headed backstage for a much-needed conversation on camera. Her smile lit up the entire room. No doubt satisfied from her flawless performance, McCreary was ready to talk about anything and everything. We chatted CMA Fest, Nashville, Predators, new shows, new music, social media, fans, friendships, collaborations, and more. The excitement that filled the room was thrilling.
