Tap Into Indie: Liddy Clark
As we continue our coverage of the Heart Songs Corporation and Center Stage Magazine Independent Artist Showcase, we bring you high-energy performing artist Liddy Clark. After rocking the fans at Alley Taps in Printer's Alley in downtown Nashville, Clark headed backstage to chat with me on camera about her music, success, education, and more.
Clark is definitely fun to speak with. Her personality and passion for her music light up the room. With her bright eyes and warm smile, Clark and I discussed her experience at the 2017 CMA Fest as well as moments that stick out to her when meeting fans and heroes. Validating the curiosity fans have on whether or not an artist remembers them, sharing the excitement of signing autographs at Fan Fair X, and recalling the moments her and her dad traced the airplay of her latest single "Falling Into You", Clark had a lot of memorable moments to share.
What stood out to me the most while talking to this extremely talented artist was her love for education. Already having a great start to her musical career, Clark is heading off to USC to begin her college career. Trading East Coast Southern Florida for West Coast Southern California is not too shabby. Proud of her decision to continue to gain knowledge, I have no doubt that Clark will also continue to flourish with her music as well.
