Conversations with Missy: JB Aaron

There are many firsts in life. Speaking with someone who made a living for two years as an Elvis impersonator was a first for me. Las Vegas, Nevada has become home to many Elvis impersonators. Tourists and fans flock to the thriving city ready to pose for a picture with the “King”.  Making many older ladies swoon, JB Aaron has an amazing story to tell.

Aaron began singing at the age of eight. For many singers, this is not uncommon. Having six older brothers added a variety of music to his life, thus creating a love of many genres of music. From a young age, Aaron knew he wanted to be a singer. He demonstrated his abilities in talent shows and eventually found that his desire was to perform country music.

Opening for acts such as Miranda Lambert, Wade Hayes, and LoCash Cowboys has given Aaron some great experiences. He has also had the opportunity to work with Listen to our conversation to hear Aaron talk about these moments and what they were like for him.

Aside from music, supporting cancer awareness and research causes have a fond place in Aaron’s heart. His beautiful and strong mother lost her battle to cancer a few years ago. Listen as Aaron briefly talks about this special woman along with a special 19-year-old friend, who is battling brain tumors currently. Fighting cancer is a challenge far greater than I could ever imagine. Bravo to these brave individuals for continuing the fight and educating others.

If supporting great causes were not enough, Aaron is also a volunteer firefighter. This man has so much to offer this world and has done a brilliant job giving back to the community with his efforts. Now it is time for us to do the same for Aaron.

His latest EP Taillights N Dust is available for download. Do yourself a favor and go download this EP now. It is spectacular. The title track was great, and for some of the wordy songs, he nails them. Listen as we discuss how he prepares for singing those challenging songs, and what he is working on next.

Be sure to catch Aaron on social media and maybe at a show near you. If you are planning on attending this year’s upcoming CMA Fest, you will find him there too. Enjoy. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
