Conversations with Missy: Rachel Lorin

by Missy Wolf / 2971 days ago / Comments

Each day we meet people in life that bring something new to our world. Recently I met someone that not only brought me laughter, she brought me inspiration. Rachel Lorin is an East Coast Rock/Pop sensation on a mission to help others while rising to the top.

What is better than watching a phenomenal singer rock on stage? When that stage is at an elementary school and the audience is filled with young scholars, it is simply breathtaking. Lorin has a unique passion for bringing her talent to schools in an effort to keep music programs alive. Listen to our conversation to learn more about the "Traveling Guitar Foundation".

You may have seen Lorin on Oxygen and E Networks The Next Big Thing. Listen as she describes what that experience was like for her. She is not only great on stage, the camera loves her. Lorin's personality will intrigue you, entertain you and make you crave more.

While speaking with Lorin, her bass player hopped on the call. How lucky am I? Acey Slade was so much fun and had me laughing immediately. I never know where these calls will lead; however, I believe I have a date with these lovely artists and a box of donuts (Adams Avenue Donuts in Huntington Beach, Calif.) on March 31, 2016.

Be sure to catch them at the "Whiskey a Go Go" in LA on March 3, 2016, opening for Phil X. They are all excited about the show and it is going to be amazing. Lorin has a thirst for delivering musical ecstasy to those who come watch her perform. Her ability to cover flawlessly songs by Halestorm and Def Leppard alone will mesmerize you.

Do not forget to check out her video "It's In Me", co-produced by Tony Harnell. The talent behind this video is superb. Find that and more on her website and social media links. Send her a message on Facebook or Twitter and maybe, just maybe she will reply. Listen to our conversation now, you will not be sorry. ~Missy

About Missy Wolf

Missy Wolf Co-Founder, Editor, Journalist & Vice President of the American Country Music Association

From an early age I knew music and entertainment were in my blood. I have always been enamored with the idea of being in this industry, though I never wanted to be a front and center "Star". Taking the audience behind the scenes for up close conversations with the artists they love is where I want to be. Life in lyrics has always been my style, so as my favorite country artist Wade Hayes sings, I am living my life and chasing my dreams! Conducting interviews, meeting talented people and sharing stories and adventure are my passion. My new favorite hashtag is #iaskyouanswer, so stay tuned for more interviews, articles and adventures!
